Solar Manufacturing utilizes its parent company Solar Atmospheres, Inc. to develop and test all of their energy efficient designs. With over 35 vacuum furnaces, as well as many other pieces of equipment, Solar Atmospheres, Inc. is very aware of the ever increasing costs of energy and the need to reduce operating costs. Through careful planning, energy efficient retrofits and hot zone installations, Solar Atmospheres, Inc has reduced the cost of electric power to less than six (6) percent of sales.

Solar Manufacturing’s high efficiency hot zone design provides a 46% reduction in electric power use as compared to competitive designs, often with improved vacuum performance as well.
