All Metallic Replacement Hot Zone Installed

Iron Bound Heat Treat of Roselle, NJ has installed an all metallic replacement hot zone from Solar Manufacturing. Bob Labell, Facilities Manager was extremely pleased commenting that “the hot zone fit like a glove. The guys who measured that hot zone were good”

The hot zone replacement was performed in less then two days.

The hot zone consisted of a .015" thick molybdenum hot face and backed by two (2) layers of .010” molybdenum and two (2) layers of .018” stainless steel. Included are molybdenum elements.
